We are looking for an experienced bengali Sound Engineer with a strong background in mixing and mastering to handle the post-production audio for our Chinese (Mandarin) to Bengali micro-drama dubbing projects. We are hiring individuals, not studios, who can manage the full audio workflow, ensuring professional sound quality, lip-sync accuracy, and subtitling (if possible). 📋 Job Overview
You will work on Chinese-to-Bengali dubbing for micro-drama series, ensuring the audio matches the lip-sync of the original video. Your task is to work on post-production audio from mixing to final mastering to provide high-quality dubbing with clear audio and professional mixing.
Language Pair: Chinese (Mandarin) to Bangla (Bengali)
Content Type: Micro-Drama Series
Episode Duration: 1:30–2 minutes per episode
Total Episodes: Approx. 100 episodes per series
Project Duration: Ongoing (Based on performance, with continued series)
Total Series Duration: 2–3 hours of content per series
Expected Output: At least 1 hour of final video per week (approx. 30 episodes/series per week/language)
🎯 Roles & Responsibilities
As a Sound Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
1. Audio Mixing & Mastering:
Mix and master Bengali dubbing recordings, ensuring clear, noise-free, and high-quality audio.
Balance background sounds and music with the voice-over to create a seamless audio experience.
Ensure that the final mix adheres to the required sound quality standards, maintaining consistent volume levels and clear frequencies.
2. Lip-Sync Accuracy:
Ensure that the Bengali voice-over aligns with the lip-sync of the Chinese actors.
Edit the audio to remove unwanted sounds and optimize the voice-over delivery for a natural-sounding speech.
3. Subtitling (Optional):
If you have experience with subtitling, add Bangla subtitles to the video, ensuring they are properly synchronized with the audio and lip movements.
Use clean, bold Bengali fonts and maintain proper readability and alignment.
4. Quality Control:
Review the final audio and video output to ensure it meets the highest quality standards for sound clarity and consistency.
Perform multiple checks to ensure the audio mix is clean and the voice-over syncs perfectly with the original video.
🎯 Performance Expectations:
Deliver 1 hour of final video per week, which equates to about 30 episodes per week.
Ensure high-quality audio engineering, with careful attention to lip-sync and subtitles (if applicable).
Maintain consistent audio quality across all episodes and meet project deadlines.
💰 Payment Details:
Rate: ₹4,000 – ₹5,000 per final output hour (completed video duration).
Payment Schedule: Between 20th–25th of each month.
Advance: Available after delivery of initial QC-approved episodes.
Payment Method: Bank transfer, UPI (for India) or Wise (for international payments).
If you also offer subtitling services, the budget can be adjusted accordingly.
